The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development and Labour wishes to inform that the Government of Spain is offering admission to students, including foreign diplomats, to its Inter-University Masters in Diplomacy and International Relations, to be pursued at the Spanish Diplomatic Academy (Escuela Diplomática) in Madrid during the academic year 2015/2016.

APPLICATION

Interested persons can access the application form on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain:

Applicants must have a solid knowledge of Spanish as the programme’s information will be in Spanish.

Foreign Service Officers’ applications must be accompanied by the corresponding Note Verbal form the Ministry of foreign Affairs.

Applicants will be required to sit an entrance examination, before April 20, 2015 at the Embassy of Spain in Port of Spain.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must have an adequate level in Spanish, which can be demonstrated by the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) intermediate level.  Diplomat candidates with a sound level of Spanish will be exempted from this requirement and from the need to sit the aforementioned exam.
