The Department of Education wishes to advise the general public that the School Transportation Subsidy Program for secondary schools will officially resume on Tuesday, Sep. 6.

The Department of Education therefore wishes to inform parents and guardians whose children are beneficiaries of the program that students will be notified of their assigned buses on Monday, Sep. 5, and buses will begin to service their assigned routes on Tuesday, Sep. 6.

In addition, the School Transportation Subsidy Program for the Vieux Fort Special Education Centre will commence on Monday, Sep. 5 using the same buses as in the last school year.

All drivers contracted for the new school year will be notified via telephone, and will need to report to their assigned schools on Monday, Sep. 5, in order to collect the list of assigned students.

The Ministry looks forward to the cooperation of all parties.
