All residents of Anse la Raye and its environs are invited to a special meeting on disaster preparedness on Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Parish Hall, to discuss how we can improve and safe guard ourselves in an adverse event. A special invitation is extended to small shop proprietors, backhoe owners and operators, police officers, firemen, doctors, nurses and truck owners who reside in the community.
